The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkvill-e-, _,,1l11nois was held in t he

to order b y resident Devereaux at 8:00 P.M.
Finding resent on roll call were; President D ereaux,
Trustees M nson,Loomis,Barkley; and Clerk Ament
Absent: Tru e Price.
Minutes of the regular meeting held June 1, 1942 and of the
adjourned regular meeting held June 9, 1942 were read and so
ordered approved.
The regular monthly reports of the Clerk, Treasurer,Chief of
Police and Police Magistrate vrBre read and axd so ordered
approved.
A letter of thanks was then read from the Illinois 141tmicipal
League thanking the Village for it' s donation toll.-the Leagues
Building Repair Fund.

Mr Rile$ and TAr Barron of the State Department of Public
Health were present at the meeting and Mr Riley spoke to the
Board in regard to municipal milk supplies , explaining many
of the phases of the control over the sale of milk and cream
in cities and villages.Also explaining the different grades
of milk and the various methods of treating and hand1bing milk.
The local milk situation was discussed and Mr Riley answered
,. a number of questions asked by members of the Board and the
, matter of improvement of the present milk ordinance or the
passage of a new one was discussed . No definite action being
taken, the matter being left open for further consideration
at a future meeting.
On motion the meeting was adjourned to July 13, 1942 at
8:00 P.11A.
