City Council Minutes 1942 07-13-42 (Special CC) Yorkville Illinois July 13,Yorkville, lift The adjourned regular meeting of the President and Board of ,! Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois was held in the Village Hall of said Village on July 13, 1942 and was called to + order by President Devereaux at 8:00 P.M. Finding Present on roll call were ; President Devereaux, Trustees I!Iunsom,Loomis,Schulter,Barkley,IAarshal1 and Clerk Ament- ', Absent; Trustee Price. Bills were then read as follows; Hughes Service Station Gas,Oil,Labor 2 tires & tubes 52.42 Farmers Elevator Co. 5 gal Street Paint 14- 54 S.J. Munson, Install lock- Vill. Hall 1.00 On motion by Trustee Schulter s--conded by Trustee Marshall the bills be referred to the Finance Committee and be paid if found to be correct. Roll Call -Ayes; Munsom,Loomis,Schulter,Barkley,Marshall Nays; None. Carded and so ordered. The annual Appropriation Ordinance was then read and on motion by Trustee Marshall seconded by Trustee Schulter the annual Appropriation Ordinance be passed and adopted as read and be ordered published. The matter of the expiring insurance policy on the village truck was taken up and the board directed that the policy be renewed with the present company for the coming year. The repair of the damage to the Village Hall caused by an automobile running into it, was then discussed and on motion by , Trustee Marshall seconded by Trustee Schulter that the front of ,, the Village Hall be repaired and remodeled as follows: By placing` 1. a new small door in the center and one window on each side of the door and repainting the front. Roll Call Ayes: Loomis,itunson,Schulter,Barkley,l.,Iarshall Nays: None. Carried and so ordered. On motion by Trustee Marshall seconded by Schulter That the ;. condition of the residence of Bessie Dunn , as --a result of a ! fire occuring on June 9th, 1942 , be reported to the State Fire , Marshall and request that an investigation be made. Carried and so ordered. A sample milk ordinance was read and discussed and the Board 1� asked the Village Attorney to draft a similar one for the Village'! of Yorkville for disc-Jasion anti possible action at the next ,imeeting. j. :' on motion the meeting was adjourned.
