August lo, 1942
II The adjourned regular meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois was held,-in the
Village Hall of said Village on August 10, 1942 and was called
to order by President Devereaux at 8:00 P.M'.
Finding present on roll call were President Devereaux,
Trustees Ilunson,Loomis,Barkley,Schulter,TFarshall and Clerk Ament.:,
Absent: Trustee Price .
Sheriff Woodard spoke to the board in regard to the trouble
he had been having with fisherman who parked all night down by
the dam and sugL-ested that the Board make some provision to
regulate the parking at that place. The matter was discussed
and during the discussion the matter of thie regulation of
traffic and barking for the 7,hole village was discussed.
President Devereaux directed that".the Board as a whole act
as a committee to draft a new traffic and parking ordinance
for the Village of Yorkville.
The 1942 Tax Levy Ordinance was then read and on motion by
Trustee Barkley seconded by Trustee Marshall that the 1941 Tax
Levy Ordinance be passed and adopt as read.

Nays; None. Carried and so ordered.

On motion by Trustee 1.1arshall seconded By Trustee Schulter
the the Village Clerk, Collector of Special Assessments be
authorized to settle the Reddock Special Ass -ssment account
on a basis of principal and accrued interest, waiving penalties
and interest on interest.
Carried and so ordered.
An Ordinance providing for the regulation of the sale of
milk and cream in the Village of Yorkville, havihg been read at
a regular meeting of the Village Board and the members of same

having been furnished copies of the ordinance , was then taken
up and on motion by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee '.1,1arshalY,
the ordinance providing for the regulation of the sale of milk
and cream in the Village of Yorkville be passed and adopted and
ordred published.

Nays; None. Carried and so ordered.

President Devereaux renorted that he had heard from Mr.Deuchler
regarding the resurfacing of Fox Road out of motor fuel tax funds.
He said that the urocedure had been changed , stating that now
the Village should have the *cork done and thereby createan
, obligation and thenpass a reolution to pay the obligation out of
the motor fuel tax funds available .
On motion the meetimg ras adjourned.
