City Council Minutes 1943 05-03-43 (2) Yorkville , Illinois May 3, 1943 The first meeting of the new Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Illinois was held in the Village Hall of said Village on May 3, 1943 aild was called to order by President Barkl6y at 9 :00 P.M. The bond and oath of the President and the oath of the new member having been filed the following roll call was had; Present-President Barkley.--,t-,, Trustees 1Lunsoz,Schulter,Marsh&ll, Schumacher and Clerk Ament. Absent- Trustee Loomis. Minutes of the meetings held in April having been read were then approved. The matter Of filling the vacancy on the Board was then discussed. On xm motion by Trustee Schulter seconded by Trustee Marshall ,'! that the question of filling the vacancy in the office of Trustee be matter of special business at the next regular meeting, Carried and so ordered. President Barkley stated that he would not appoint the various committees until the next zkamkixg regular meeting. The Clerk's Annual Report of Estimates was then read and on motion by Trustee Marshall seconded by Trustee Schulter that the Clerk's Annual report of estimates be accepted and be made a matter of rec6rd. Carried and so ordered. President Barkley appointed the following listdd persons to be members of the Yorkville Fire Department; William Bieritz, Chief Rudolph Rabe Charles Schumacher, Asst . Chief Herman Behrens R.J. Riemenschneider Morrison Gardner C.W.Riemenschneider Ernest Zeiter Jacobi Zeiter Allen Mayes L.Y- . ,LarBon On motion by Trustee Marshall seconded by Trustee Munson that the/appuintibett, ofethe,,-abave.Ilistdd persons by President Barkley to be members of the Yorkville Fire Department be confirmed.
