The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall CountyT Illinois
was held in the Village Hall of said Village on Monday,
March 5, 1945 and was called to order by President Barkley at
7;00 P.M.
Finding present on roll call were President Barkley,
Trustees Munson,Loomis, Schulter,Schumacher,Marshall, Zeiter
and Clerk Ament. Absent None.
Minutes of the regular meeting held February 5, 1945 were
read and so ordered approved.
The regular monthly report of the Clerk was read and so
ordered approved.
Bills were then read as follows;

On motion by Trustee Zeiter seconded by Trustee Schumacher
the bills be feferred to the Finance Committee and be paid if
found to be correct.

Zeiter.
Nays- None. Carried and so ordered.
An ordinance in regard to the General Election to be held
April 17, 1945 was read and on motion by Trustee Marshall
seconded by Trustee Schulter the said ordinance be passed and
adopted.

A communication from the Illinois Oommerce Commission in the
matter of petition of Burlington Transportation Company for
authority to discontinue the operation of runs 5-B and 9-B
between Chicag& and Sheffield, Illinois, and inter mediate
points was read and directed placed on file.

The matter of the Village water supply was discussed and
President Barkley directed C.O. Munson,Chairman of the Water
Committee to get in touch with Walter E Deuchler and have a
survey of the water situation in the village made.
Mr. Sneller of thh Aurora Pump Company spoke to the Board
regarding wells and pumps and suggested also that the first
thing to be done for the improvement of the present water
supplies would be to have an engineer make a survey to determine
the best method.and means. This step having already been
authorized in the previous papagraph.
On motion the meeting was adjourned
