City Council Minutes 1946 11-04-46 Yorkville Illinois November 4. 1946 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday, the fourth day of November , 1946 and was called to order by Presiden Barkley at 7;30 o' clock P.M. ii Finding present on roll call were; President Barkley, Member s' Loomis,Schumacher,Munson,Zeiter and Clerk Ament. Absent; Member Marshall. 14 It I. w 1-4 A--W The regular monthly reports of the Clerk were read and so ordered approved. On motion by Member Schumacher, seconded by Member Munson that proper steps be taken to release the 2% Fire Insurance Tax ii to the Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District. On favorable vote,President Barkley[ declared the motion varried and so ordered. Yorkville Illinois November 4, 1946 A communication from the Illinois Post-War Panning Commission Iwas read stating that the Village of Yorkville had been allocate 11 $91.00 for Plan Preparation Costs -under Provisions of Senate Bill 303. I A communication from Burlington Trailways was read in regard to improvement of bus service in and out of Yorkville to Aurora. Mr. Sproul of the Publie Service Co. of N. Ill . was present and showed the Board the new 250 c-p. street lamps which will replace the present 100 c.p. at no increase in cost to the jVillage . Member Loomis brought up the matter of the use of the liklage ;' fire siren by the Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District. ii l`<`< On motion by Member Zeiter, seconded by Member Loomis that ithe Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District be granted the use of the fire siren.
