City Council Minutes 1946 12-02-46 Yorkville , Illinois December 2, 1946 __7 E` I The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville ,Kendall County, Illinois ! was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday the 2nd ,, day of December 1946 and was called to order by President Barkle at 7: 30 o ' clock P.M. Finding present on roll call were President Barkley, Members Munson,Schumacher,Loomis ,Zeiter. Absent : Member Marshall is Minutes of the meeting held in November were read and so ordered approved . Poll Call-Ayes; Idunson,Schumacher,Loomis,Zeiter Nays; None . President Barkley declared the motion carried and so ordered II �I I I Yorkville , Illinois December 2, 1946 The Clerk reported that all outstanding water certificates and the interest on them had been paid. A notice of a hearing before the Illinois Commerce Commissio ,, in regard to proposed increases in express rates between points �1within the State of Illinois was read and Village Attronet 1i Clark stated that he had acknowledged receipt of *aid notice. The following resolution was :kkK[ read; RESOLUTION ii ii Whereas,in the death of Pearl Marshall , Trustee John Marshall has lost his mother and business associate ; and �! Whereas , Pearl Marshall , as an owner of the Kendall County Record, the official news- paper of this Village , has many times through the medium of this publication, rendered valu- Able public service far beyond official require- ments:-- Therefore ,be it resolved, that the several members of the Village Board of Yorkville , Kendall County, extend to Trustees John Marshall and the other members of the family of Pearl Marshall,this their expression of sympathy;and Be it further resolved that in recognition of the dervice of Pearl Marehall ,as an owner of the Kendall County Record to this Village ,this resolution be spread at length on the Village records and further that a copy hereof be sent to her family. I� On motion by Trustee Loomis seconded by Trustee Schumacher that the forgoing resolution be passed and adopted.
