March 3, 1947
The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois
was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday, March 3,
1947 and was called to order by President Barkley at 7;30 o' clo
P.M.
Finding present on roll call were President Barkley,Trustee
Munson,Loomis,Schumacher,liarshall,Zeiter.
Absent- None.
Minutes of the meeting held February 3, 1947 were read and
so ordered approved.

The regular monthly report of the Clerk was read and so
ordered approved.

On motion by Trustee Marshal, seconded by Trustee Zeiter
the bills be referred to the Fianace Committee and be paid
if found to be correct.
A communication from the Illinois Municipal League was read
acknowledging receipt of dues for the year 1947.
The condition of the Powell property was mentioned and
it was directed that a letter be sent to Mr . Powell asking
that the premises be cleaned up and be put into a safe condition.

The matter of a policeman fon the Village was brought up and
�i it was unanimouilyyagreed that every effort be made to obtain
j a policeman for the Village.

�( A request for a ttgM street light at Wasington & Milla
! Streets was received but no action taken. I
�i President Barkley directed that the Clerk investigate the
!� matter of fire insurance on the pump house and contents and
on the village hall.
