City Council Minutes 1947 04-15-47 (Special CC) Yorkville, Illinois April 15, 1947 ;F- A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorklille,Kendall County, Illinois was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Tuesday, April 15, 1947 at the hour of 6:45 o'clock P.M. pursuant to the following call;, To the Members of the Village Board of Trustees : You are hereby notified of a special meeting of the Preside and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville to be held at the Village Hall on April 15, 1947 at the hour of 6:45 o' clock �) P.M. for the purpose of canvassing the returns of an election i to be held on said April 15, 1947. The Clerk read the call and finding that notice of said meeting had been served upon all members of the Board' of Trustee, called the roll with $he following result: Present: President Barkley, Trustees Munson,Loomis,liarshall, Zeiter. i; Absent: Trustee Schumacher. iThereupon, The Board of Trustees canvassed the returns of the election held April 15, 1947, and after such canvass the following resolution was presented by Trustee Marshall who moved its adop$ old. Be it and it is hereby resolved that the results of the itelection held on April 15, 1947 are as follows: James E. Price received 30 votes for Village Trustee F. G. Loomis received 28 votes for Village Trustee Ellsworth Windett received 30 votes for Village Trustee C .O . Munson received 1 vote for Village Trustee It id further resolved that James E. Price, F.G. Loomis and Ellsworth Windett having received the highest number of votes I for the office of Village Trustee, they, and each of them are hereby declared to be duly elected Trustees of the Village of +i 'Yorkville for the regular four year term. Trustee Zeiter seconded the motion of Trustee Marshall jj for the adoption of the foregoing resolution and the following roll call was recorded; Roll Call- Ayes; Munson,Loomis ,Marslgall, Zeiter Nays; None.
