City Council Minutes 1948 06-07-48 Yorkville,Illinois June 7, 1948 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday, June 7, 1948 and was called to order by President Barkley at 7:30 o'clock P.M. Finding present on roll call were President Barkleyq Trustees Loomis,Marshall,Zeiter,Priee,Windett and Clerk Ament. Absent: Trustee Schumacher. Minutes of the regular meeting held May 3, 1948 were read and so ordered approved. The regular mont4yreport of the Clerk was read and so ordered approved. The matter of the placing of the Bristol-Kendall Fire Protection District fire siren on the Village Ball was brought up and discussed. Yorkville,Illinois June 7, 1948 On motion by Trustee Loomis, seconded by Trustee Marshall that the matter of placing of Fire District fire siren on the Village Hall bez referred to the Fire Committee with power to act. Upon favorable vote ,President Barkley deckirsd the motion carried and so ordered. On motion by Trustee Windett, seconded by Trustee Marshall that the meeting be adjourned.
