City Council Minutes 1949 07-05-49 Yorkville,Illinois July 5, 1949 The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinoje was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Tuesday,July 5, 1949 and was called to order by President Renfro at 7: 30 o' clock P.M. • Finding present on roll call were President Renfro, Trustees Loomis ,Price,tis'indett,Horton and Clerk Ament; Absent: Trustees Leifheit,and Hughes Minutes of the meeting held June 6, 1949 were read and so ordered approved. Yorkville,Illinois July 5, 1949 Chairman Price of the Water Committee stateuthat four of ithe objections that the State had regarding the Village water supply had been corrected. Chairman Windett stated that the Street and Alley Committee estimated that the improvement of the Non-arterial streets would cost about $2, 500.00. The annual Appropriation Ordinande was read and on motion by Trustee Loomis, seconded by Trustee Price that the said Appropriation Ordinance be pdssdd-,and adopted as read. Roll Call-Ayes;Loomis,Price,Windett,Horton Nays; None . Carried and so ordered. (See ordinance record) A RESOLUTION FOR IMPROVEMENT BY MUNICIPALITY UNDER MOTOR FUEL TAX LAW for additional $54. 33 for Section 2-RR-C.S. was read and on motion by Trustee Lftxhib� , seconded by Trustee Windett that the said resolution be passed and adopted. Roll Call-Ayres-Loomis,Price ,Windett,Horton Nays- None . Carried and so ordered. (See following page) . On motion by Trustee Windett, seconded by Trustee Horton that July 20, 1949 be fixed as the date of letting for arterial strait improvement, and that notice therof be published; Further notice be given that bids also be received for additional 10,000 gallons of oil and 250 tons of sand. Carried and so ordered. On motion by Trustee Windett, seconded by Trustee Horton j that the meeting be adjourned to July 20, 1949 at 8:00 P.M. Carried and so ordered. Clerk President.
