The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustbes of the Village of Yorkville,Kendall County jllinois
' was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday, April 3,
1950 and was called to order by President Renfro at 7:30 o' clock ,
P .M. j
Finding present on roll calla were President Renfro,
Trustees Loomis ,Price,Windett,Horton,Leifheit,Hughes and Clerk
Ament . Absent: None.
Minutes of the regular meeting held March 6, 1950 were
read and so ordered approved.
The regular monthly report of the Clerk was read and so
ordered approved.
Bills were then read as follows;

Mrs . Alice G. Manson, Village Treasurer of the Village
of Yorkville having died on March 29, 1950, Trustee Loomis
presented the following resolution of sympathy and moved its
adoption. Tbusteplf ftndett seconded the motion and the resolution`
was passed by unanimous vote of all the trustees.

President Renfro made the following nomination;
I nominate Harry L. Crawford to fill the vacancy in the
office of Village Treasurer and his bond to be fixed at the
sum of $15,000.00, with the provision that liability shall not
extend to bank failures and his salary fixed at the rate of
$150.00 per year, 50% from General fund, 50% from water fund.
The nomination was seconded by Trustees Price andLeifheit.
Roll Call-President and Trustees voting jointly
Ayes-Renfro,Loomis,Price,Windett,Horton,Leifheit,Hughes
Nays-None.
The appointment of Harry L. Crawford as Village Treasurer
was approved.
On motion by Trustee Price, seco6ded by Trustee Windett
that the insurance on the pump house be increased to $1.200.00
and on the contents to $2,000.00 for a period of three years

None. CARRIED AND SO ORDERED.
The matter of an'ordinanee regulating bakery trucks was
discussed.

WHEREAS, Alice G. Munson, Village Treasurer of the Village of
Yorkville, departed this life on March 29, 1950; and
WHEREAS, in Doll Munson's death this Village has lost a faith-
ful, friendly and efficient public servant, the community a cheerful
and likeable person and her family a kindly and loveable member;
therefore
BE IT, AND IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the President and . Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, that on
behalf of the Village and the community, our deepest sympathy is ex-
tended to her husband and her family; and
BE IT, AND IT IS HEREBY FURTHER RESOLVED, that this resolution
be spread at length upon the records of this Village, and a certified
copy thereof be transmitted to Clair 0. Munson, her husband.
