The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County,Illinois
was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday,
June 5, 1950 at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Finding present on roll call were Trustee Loomis,Windett,
Price,Horton,Leifheit,Hughes and Clerk Ament.
Absent-President Renfro.

President Renfron-being absent, Trustee Windett moved that
James Price be chosen to act as President Pro.Tem for this
meeting. The motion was seconded by Trustee Horton and all
Trustees present voting aye_ , Trustee Price was elected Presiden*
Pro.Tem. for this meeting.
Minutes ofthe regular meeting held May 1, 1950 were read and
so ordered approved.
The monthly reports of the Clerk and Police Magistrate and
Chief of Police were read and so ordered approved.

On motion by Trustee Windett,seconded by Trustee Leifheit
that the bills be referred to the Finance Committee and be paid
if found to be correct and that the President Pro Tem. be
authorized to sign all checks and warrants.
Roll Call Ayes ; Loomis,Windett,Price,Horton,Leifhei$,
Hughes.
Nays: None. Carried and so ordered.
The matter of redecorating the Village Hall was discussed
and President Pro Tem. Price appointed Trustee Windett, and
Leifheit to look into the matter.
The matter of a stop sign ordinance was discussed and the
matter was turned over to the Street and Alley Committee.
Lawrence Pennuto was present and spoke to the Board in
regard to a change in the hours for the taverns . Requesting
12:00 Noon to 8:00 P.M. Sunday - 7:00 A.M. to 12:00 midnight
on week days . He also presented a petition signed by a number
of the business men of the village.
The matter of change of hours for the taverns was discussed)
and President Pro Tem. Price appointed Trustees Loomis,Hughes,
and Leifheit to consider the matter and report at the next
meeting.
On motion the meeting was adjourned.
