E The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County,Illinois
was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday,
October 2, 1950 and was called to order by President Loomis
at 7:30 o' clock P.M.

Finding present on roll call were President Loomis,
Trustees Windej�t,Price,Horton,Leifheit,Hughes and Clerk Ament.
Absent : None.

The regular monthly reports of the Clerk and Chief of
Police and Police Magistrate were read and so ordered approved. f
Police Magistrate Jeter read a letter which he had receives
from the Governor of Illinois in regar# to the effort being
made to reduce the number of automobile accidents.

r' On motion by Trustee Price, seconded by Trustee Leifheit that
the bills be referred to the Finance Committee and be paid if
�+ found to be correct.

Trustee Windett, Chairman of Public Buildin]gs Committee
reported that the reshingling of the Village Hall had been
completed. "

The matter of making the amber signal light over Route
47 a flasher light was discussed and the matter was referred to
the Police Committee and Chief of Police Martyn.
On motion by Trustee Horton, seconded by Trustee Leifheit, '
that the Public Building Committee obtain estimate on cost of
converting the north end ofl the Village Hall into a garage.
CARRIED AND SO ORDERED.
The matter of new lights for the Bridge Street business
section was discussed and President Loomis asked the Light
Committee obtain information as to cost etc. , and report at the
next meeting. '
On motion by Trustee Windett, seconded by Trustee Horton,
that the meeting be adjourned to October 16, 1950 at the regular ,
time and place.
