The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
s Trustees of the Village of Yorkville,Kendall County,Illinois
was held at the village hall of said village on Monday,March 5,
1951 and was called to order by President Loomis at 7:30 o' clock,;

Finding present on roll call were President Loomis, Truste s
Windett,Priee,Horton,I.eifheit,Hughes.Absent;Clerk Ament. i
In the absence of Clerk Ament, Trustee Price was chosen ,
by unanimous vote,to be Clerk Pro-Tem for this meeting
Minutes of the meeting held February 51 1951 were read and!
so ordered approved.

On motion by Trustee Hughes ,seconded by Trustee Leifheit thot
the bills be referred to the Finance committee and be paid if
found to be correct.

j The report of the Chief of Police and Police Magistrate
�j was read and so ordered approved.
E C.D. Ohse, M,F. Frankenhauser and C.E. Bretthauer were
present , C.D. Ohse acting as spokesman for the grocers of the
Village asked that a food delivery truck licensing ordinance be
enacted.
President Loomis appointed a committee consisting of the f'
Police Committe and Chief of Police Martyn to meet with a
committee of the grocers and ±kx with Village Attorney Clark
to discuss the possibilty of a food delivery truck licensing
ordinance.
A letter from Village Attorney Clark was read in which hey'
stated that he had filed a protest in the matter of the proposed:
rate change asked by the Illinois Bell Telephone Co. , zi he 3
also reported a proposed rate change by the Public Service go.
The Police Committee and Chief of Police reported the
possibilty of obtaining a two way police radio for the police ca
from the city of Iake Villa. This radio is a used Motorola.
On motion by Trustee Hughes , seconded by Trustee Horton,
that the police committee be empowere to investigate the two-way `
radio for the police car,with power to act.
