A special meeting of the President and Board of Trustees
? of the Village of Yorkville,Kendall County,Illinois was held at
the Village Hall of said Village on Friday April 20, 1951 at the !
hour of 7:30 o'clock P.M. pursuant to the Following call:
"To the Members of the Village Board of Trustees:
By order of the President of the Board of Trustees of the;
; Village of Yorkville,Kendall County,Illinois,you are hereby
notified of a special meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of said village to be held on Friday;April 209 1951 f
' in the Village Hall of said village at 7:30 o clock P.M. for the
:: purpose of canvassing the returns of the regular village elect iom�
held April 17, 1951 and. declaring the results.

The Clerk read the call and finding that notice of said
meeting having been served upon all members of the Board of '
Trustees, called the roll with the following results
Present: President Loomis,Trustees Price,Windett,Horton,Leifheit,'
Hughes and Clerk Amentq ?
Absent: None.
The returns of the election held April 179 1951 were
. canvassed and the returns were declared.
On motion by Trustee Windett,seconded by Trustee Horton,.
that the declaration of results of the election held April 17919 If
be transcribed on the records of the Village.
CARRIED AND SO ORDERED. (See following page)
On motion by Trustee Price,seconded by Trustee-Leifhetr�!

We,F.G.Loomis,President,and Ellsworth Windett,James E.Price
Holman Horton,Arnold Leifheit,and Russell Hughes,members of the
�! Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville Kendall Count
Illidois, do hereby certify that we convened in lawful session
f on the 20th day of April,1951,for the purpose of canvassing
official returns of the regular election held in and for said
I Village on April 17, 1951, to elect a President 6f the Board to r
fill vacancy and three members of said board for full terms,and
for the purpose of declaring the results of said election,and
we do further certify that from our examination of the retdrns,
we find and determine the results of said election to be as
follows:
171 votes were cast at said election by 171 legal voters, ,
of which 11 ballots were defective and not counted.
Francis H.Hance received 129 votes for President; r
Virgil Rice received 27 votes for said office;for board members
Ellsworth Windett received 160 votes,Paul A.Merke1,160 votes, {
James E.Price,133 votes,Richard Brettelle,24 votes,Virgil Rice,-_ !
3 votes.
WHEREFORE,we further certify that the result of said
election is as fellows:
Francis H.Hance has been elected President of said Board
to f&ll vacancy until the next regular election,and Ellsworth`
Windett,James E•Price and Paul A. Merkel have been elected
members of said Board,all for full terms .
