The Police Committee and Chief of Police Martyn reported
progress in the matter of a two-way radio for the police car,but ;
as yet had been unable to obtain the necessary equipment.
Village Attorney Clark reported on the matters of the
Western United,Publice Service Co. and Illinois Bell Tel Co.hear�ngs
before the Illinois Commerce Commission.
The Clerk reported the receipt of the Annual Report of the
Village Treasurer and President Loomis directed that the said
report be referred to the Auditing Committee for auditing.
President Loomis,Retiring President of the Board of
Trustees expressed his thanks to all officers and employees of tie
Village with special thanks to Roger H. C1ark,Village Attorney, ;
for all past cooperation, and welcomed the new President and
Member and wished them all good luck.

The Clerk's Annual Report of Estimates was read and on motion
by Trustee Price, seconded by Trustee Hughes that the Clerk's
Annual Report of Estimates be planed on file.
CARRIED AND SO ORDERED.
Duane Hayden,Member of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Bristol, was present and spoke to the Board in regard to the
-, poddibility of joining the Village of Bristol and the Village of l
" Yorkville together. i

The reaction being favorable, President Hance stated that 1i
he would appoint a committee of three trustees to meet with a
' siikilar committee from the Village of Bristol, but wished a day
or two to consider his choice.
The matter of a proper token #:of appreciation for Dr.F.G. !!
