ROLL CALL - Ayes; Price,Windett,Horton,Leifheit,Hughes,Merkel (; Naps; None CARRIED AND SO ORDERED. i Yorkville Illinois June Chairman Windett of the Auditing Committee stated that the Treasurer's books and report had not been audited. Chairman Horton of the Finance Committee stated that in the matter of investing of surplus funds of the Sewage i Disposal Fund , U.S. Treasury Bills appeared to be a good buy Pi but he wished further time for investigation. I President Hance appointed the following persons to be j Ii members of a committee to meet with a similirreommittee from f the Village of Bristol in the interest of joining the Village ti of Yorkville and the Village of Bristol together. James Price- Chairman Ellsworth Windett Arnold Leifheit In the absence of Chairman Clark The committee for obtaining a suitable token of appreciation for Dr. F.G. Loomis It made no report. Chief of Police Martyn made a verbal report on his attendance at the state civil defense police school at Springfield. Chief of Police Martyn reported that 7 licenses had been p I taken out under the ordinance licensing carriers of foodstuffs. President Hance nominated LeRoy E.
