The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board
iof Trustees of the Village of Yorkville,Kendall County,Illinois
was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Mondaq,January 7,R
1952 and was called to order by President Hance at 7:30 o'clock
P.M.
Finding present on roll catl were President Hance,Trustees
: Price,Windett,Horton,Ieifheit,Merkel and Clerk Ament. �I
Absent: Trustee Hughes .
Minutes of the regular meeting held December 3,1951 were
: read and so ordered approved.
The regular monthly reports of the Clerk and Chief of
Police were read and so ordered approved.
Bills were then read as follows;

The committee appointed to consider tha matter df prohibitin
the parking of trucks on Bridge Street reported and the Village
Attorney read his opinion $nd since no workable solution had bee
agreed upon, the committee was directed to look into the matter
i further. A communication from F.F. Weber regarding this matter

as also read.
!' The matter of disposing of the old street grader was discuss d
1 and on motion by Trustee Price,seconded by Trustee Merkel, that
the Street and Alley Committee be empowered to dispose of the
old street grader,at their own disgretion.
Upon a'unanimous vote in favor of the motion ,President
Hance declared the motion carried and so ordered.
The matter of a dog pound was discussed and President Hance
directed the Health Committee to try to find a location for a
village dog pound.
On motion by Trustee Price seconded by Trustee Leifheit,
that the meeting be adjourned. Carried and so ordered.
