a� The adjourned regular meeting of the President and Board
of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville,Kendall County, Illinois
was held at the Village Hall of said village on Monday,
February 18, 1952 and was called to order at 7:30 o'clock P.M.
Finding present on roll call were Trustees Price,Windett,
Ieifheit ,Merkel and Clerk Ament.
Absent: Trustees Horton and Hughes.
?' President Hance having resigned, Trustees Windett was,
by unanimous vote, chosen President Pro-Tem for this meeting.
L.M.Larson and R. Walker ,representing the Town of Kendall,
and a tentative agreement was reached for the joint use of
the Village Hall by the Village of Yorkville and the Town of j
Kendall. The Town of Kendall to pay $15.00 per month rent and i
one half of the heat. The agreement being subject to ratifcatior
h* the Town Meeting of the Town of Kendall. h
Trustee Windett made the followiftmomination;
" I nominate C. Robert Ohse to be Village Attorney andthis
salary to be fixed at ` 60.00 per year plus necessary traveling
expenses ." Trustee T eifheit seconding the nomination.
Roll Call- Ayes; Price,Windett,Leifheit,Merkel
Nays; None.
Four Trustees having voted aye and none nay, C. Robert Ohse j
was anointed Village Attorney for the balance of the current
year.
Trustee Ieifheit made the following nomination;
" I nominate P.A. Merkel to fill the vacancy in the office (�
of President of the Board of Trustees until the next regular
election. Trustee Price seconding the nomination. �I
Roll Ca? l; Ayes; Price,Windett,Leifheit,Merkel.
Nays ; None
Four Trustees having voted aye and none voting nay,
P.A. Merkel was appointed to the office of President of the
Board of Trustees , to hold that office dintil the next regular
election.
The resignation of P.A. Merkel as Member of the Board of i
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville was read and on motion
by Trustee Windett, seconded by Trustee Leifheit that the
resignation of P.A. Merkel as Member of the Board of Trustees
be accepted. CARRIED AND SO OPDRRED.
