Willman for Superintendent of Streets and Water Works was approved. i President Merkel stated that all committees would remain the same and that Trustee Pehlke would be Chairman of the Health Committee and would be a Member of the Finance and of the PublicIfa"!!ft and Buildings Committee. President Merkel nominated C.Robert Ohse for Village Attorney at the salary of $60.00 per year plus allowance for extra work and travel expense. ROLL CALL-President and Trustees voting jointly. The appointment of C.Robert Ohse for Village Attorney was approved. ` Sr. ' President Merkel nominated Franklin Martyn/as Chief of Police at the same salary as heretofore. Nays: None j The appointment of Franklin Martyn Sr. for Chief of Police was approved. ii Yorkville.Illinois May 5, 1952 i i� President Merkel nominated Marilyh Gauer for Village Treasurer, her bond to be fixed at $302000.00,with the provision '' that liability shall not extend to bank failures,and her salary ; shall be fixed at $150.00 per year,payable 50% from the General ,! Nays: None, The appointment of Marilyn Gauer for Village Treasurer was ! ° approved. if President Merkel nominated Joseph Eccles for Night Watchman' gat the same salary as heretofore. On motion by Trustee Hughes, seconded by Trustee Leifheit '' that the Village of Yorkville offer the use of the Village Hail to MmWN&tnTownship at the rate of $50.00 per year, except that �± tka Kendall Township shall not use said village hall for election. CARRIED AND SO ORDERED. The Clerk's Annual Report of Esimates was read and on motion ;; by Trustee Windett, seconded by Trustee Hughes, that the Clerk's -Annual Reportof Estimates be placed on,file.
