June 2, 1952
The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville,Kendall County,Illinois
was held at the Village Hall of said Village on Monday,June 29 ij
1952 and was called to order by President Merkel at 7:30 o'clock
P.M
?' Finding present on roll call were President Merkel,
Trustees Pri'ce,Windett,Horton,Leifheit,Hughes,Pehlke and Clerk
Ament.
Minutes of the regular meeting held May 5, 1952 and of
the special meeting held May 16, 1952 were read and so ordered
arrroved.
The regular monthly report of the Clerk and Chief of
Police were read and so ordered approved.

On motion by Trustee Hughes, seconded by Trustee Price, thatf�
the American Legion Post of Yorkville be allowed to use VanEmmon
Street between S.B. I. Route 47 and Heustis Street for a carnival
, on June 13 11+ and 15, 1952, provided a permit is obtained and i
1jproper bond be deposited and that all merchants be notified.
The motion was carried and so ordered.
The matter of the annual audit of the Village books was '
referred to the Auditing Committee. +
The matter of the repair of the sidewalk over the creek
on VanEmmon Street ,near the Farm Bureau, be referred to the
! Street and Alley Committee.
On motion by Trustee Horton, seconded by Trustee Price, that !!
the meeting be adjourned. l
