The regular monthly meeting of the President and Board of
Trustees of the Village of Yorkville ,Kendall County,Illinois
was held in the Village Hall of said Village on Tuesday,
September 2nd,1952 and was called to order by Rreside nt Merkel
at 7: 30 o ' clock P.M.
Finding present on roll call were President Merkel,Trustees
Price ,Windett,Horton,Leifheit ,Hughes,Pehlke and Clerk Ament,
Absent : None. i
Minutes of the regular meeting held August 4, 1952 were
read and so ordered approved. "
Bids were opened for 12,000 gals. Asphalt SC-3 furnished,
delivered,heated and applied and 450 tons Torpedo Sand 9
furnished, delivered , and spread as follows ±.

Windett,seconded by Trustee Horton, that all bids be rejected.

Pprovided that the cost would not be over $125.00.

The natter of the inst411ation of a water meter in the
ijPublic Service building in Yorkville was discussed and referred iC
to the Water Committee.

The matter of obtaining an oil heater for the pump house was
discussed and referred to the Water committee. i

ilthaton the Street and Alley Committee be empowered to buy the !

the Village of YorkvZUJ& pay the Bristml Fire Distric6 the total
sum of $2,500.00&,"as per agreement, the said sum of money to be
;; paid over a period of five years or sooner,if possible.
