UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE KENDALL COUNTY, ILLINOIS ORDINANCE NO. 2014-78 ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING ON US 34 (VETERANS PARKWAY) IN THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE, IL (FROM TUMA ROAD EASTERLY TO EAST CORPORATE LIMITS) Passed by the City Council of the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois This 9"'day of December, 2014 Published in pamphlet form by the authority of the Mayor and City Council of the United City of Yorkville,Kendall County, Illinois on December 17, 2014. ORDINANCE NO.o2o Iq"79 REGULATING PARKING ON US 34 (VETERANS.PARKWAY) IN THE UNITED CITY OF YORKVILLE, IL (FROM TUMA ROAD EASTERLY TO EAST CORPORATE LIMITS) WHEREAS, the United City of Yorkville of Kendall County, Illinois has entered into an agreement with the State of Illinois for the improvement of US 34 (FAP 591), Section (13C & 13)R&T also known as Veterans Parkway. The said project involves the reconstruction US 34 (Veterans Parkway) from an existing two lane facility to a five lane roadway. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Mayor and City Council of the United City of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois regarding. • both sides of US 34 (Veterans Parkway) from Tuma Road easterly approximately 2.27 miles to the east corporate limits of the United City of Yorkville. SECTION 1: That in order to provide the health, safety, and welfare of its citizens, parking will be prohibited at both locations: SECTION 2: Any person, firm, or corporation violating the provisions of this ordinance shall be fined not less than $'15.cn nor more than $ '7 50.e© for each offense. SECTION 3: The CITY will enact further ordinances requiring parking restrictions at locations immediately adjacent to the improvement as may be determined to be necessary by the STATE from results of traffic capacity studies when construction of the above described state section has been completed and the highway has resumed normal operations. SECTION 4: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage, approval, and publication in pamphlet form, as provided by law. PASSED this day of I . P!PdF_k _' 2014.
