City Council Minutes 1918 03-05-18 Yorkville,Illinois, March,4th, 1918
Regular monthly meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Village
of Yorkville, there not being a quorum present the meeting
was adjourned until Tuesday Evening,March,5th,1918.

Adjourned meeti-.rig of the Board of Trustees of the Village of
Yorkville, Ill. , was held in the Hose House in Yorkville,
Tuesday Evening,March,5th,1918.
President Ament called the meeting to order at
8 o' clock P.M. The roll Ball was taken the following
members responding; President Ament,
Trustees; A.C.Merkel, A.H.Van Emon,W.G.Wollenweber,George Ohee
and- M.N.Beecher. Absent; Frank E.Ament.
The minutes of the previous regular meeting were read
and approved as read.
The following bills were read;
Public Service Company,Lighting Streets,Dec. 31st,-Jah,31,18, . 78.
Public §ervice Co. , Pumping, December,19th-Feb. 20th,1818. 23. 37
Mrs C.Knight, 8 3/4 Yde Gravel Filling,R+25cts.yd. 2.25
On a motion by Trustee Wollenweber seconded by Trustee
Beecher the bills were referred to the finance committee with th
instructions that if they were found to be correct orders were
to be drawn for the payment of the same. Motion carri-ad all

members present affirming the motion.
• The application of H.R.?{rueger for Water supply was:
read by the clerk.
On a motion by Trustee Ohse seconded by Trustee Merkel
• the same was granted. All members present affirming the motion.
Street Commissioner Beecher was present and address the
Chair and members of the board and asked that he be granted at.

unanimous vote the same was referred to 4he water committee
for consideration with power to act.
At this time the board took up the matter of appointi
Judges and Clerks to officiate at the Primary Election to be held
March,,5th,19180and the Election to be. hell April,16th,1918.
Afte~ a general discussion of the matter it was
moved by Trustee Beecher and seconded by Trustee Van Emon,that
L.Hafenrichter,George Cress and Eugene Price act as Judges and
Jay F.Moore and C.T.Beech.er act as Clerks and officiate at the.
above mentioned elections. The vote was canvassed on the
above nominations with the result that the same were unanimously
approved. '
