On a motion by Trustee 'col lenweber, seconded by
Trustee Beecher and of by 'all m5mIrDers of the Board
the bills were referred to' the .f imake a committee with the

instructions that if they were f
were to be drawn for the payment of the same.
;fir. J. Tadin, was present and ad pressed the chair
and members of the Board in behalf of the Chioaso Telephone Co.
He asked that a permit be ?ranted the said Company to connect
the Telephone Conduct Manholes with the ,yew--r at the following
Street intersections, Yain and '?idge Streets,71.1ain and 17-an Emon,
Streets,Bridge and Iran Emon Streets, and in Bridge Street in
frontof the Chicago Telerhone Company' s office.
A motion was made of Trustee Tan Emon and
seconded by Trustee Beecher, that the rermit be granted to said
Chicago Telephone Co. tr� rr.ake the above mentioned connections
upon the payment of 135.00 per tap. The motion carried,all
members of the board affirming the motion.
A general discussion followed,concerrging the amount
to be assessed the same Company for water used in the constructs n
of said manholes and the laving of the conducts thru the Village
On a motion by Trustee lain Tmon, seconded by Truste rWollenweber
the amount waa sit at 18.00
Con^erning the employln7 of a Street Commissioner
and Police, Trustee Vari Emon proved and Trustee 0hae seconded the
motion that John Beecher be -n a ed for the balance of the year
at a salary of -170.00 rer month. The motion -was carried.
Trustee Van Emon on behalf of C.r,. Smith of the
Yorkville Garage and Vulcanizing Co. , ad-Ireaaelhe Board and
asked for permission to erect. a sign on a staff on Hydralic Ave.
abtttting C.H.Houcks property. On a motion by Van Emon, seconded b
Ohse -the matter was left to the St reet and Alley Comt.,ittee.
There being no further business the board adjourned.
