Ordinance 1953-57 PARKING ORDINANCE BI IT ORDAINED by the President and Board of Trustees of the Village of Yorkville, Kendall County, Illinois, as follows; — Section 1. That it is unlawful to park any motor vehicle upon Bridge Street in the Village of Yorkville, between the northern village limits of said village and a line 120 feet south of and parallel to the south line of Van Emon Street in said village for more than three consecutive hours between the hours of 6;00 A.M. to 7:00 P.M. daily, including Sundays and holidays. Section 2. That it is unlawful to leave unattended for a period of more than fifteen minutes, any motor vehicle upon Bridge Street in the Village of Yorkville, between the northern village limits and a line 120 feet south of and parallel to the south line of Van Emon Street in said village between the hours of 1:00 A.M. to 5: 00 A.M. , including Sundays and holidays. Section 3. Definitions: Whenever the word "Motor vehicle" is used herein, it shall mean a motor vehicle of both the first and second class, as defined in Section 1 of the "Motor Vehicle Act" of the State of Illinois (Illinois Revised Statutes, 1951, Chapter 95j) . Section 4. Any violation of this ordinance shall be punished by a fine of not less than One Dollar ($1.00) or more r than Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) and costs. Section 5. This ordinance shall not affect or modify any other ordinance of the Village of Yorkville, except as the same directly conflicts herewith. Section 6. This ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as provided by 2 law. Passed this 6th day of July, A. D . 1953.
