Mayor Golinski called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. and led the Council in the Pledge of Allegiance.

AMENDMENTS TO THE AGENDA
Mayor Golinski asked that Mayor's Report#6(2015 Property Insurance,General Liability and
Workman's Comp Insurance Renewal)be moved to the beginning of the Mayor's Report.
Amendment approved unanimously by a viva voce vote.
PRESENTATIONS
Mike Pfeiffer and Ellen Mueller from the Aurora Area Convention&Visitors Bureau(AACVB)gave an
update on the AACVB. Mr. Pfeiffer highlighted some areas on the AACVB's website so that the City
Council could see how the AACVB promotes Yorkville. He also showed the City Council a short video
clip promoting Yorkville that people can watch on the AACVB website.

2015 Property Insurance,General Liability and Workman's Comp Insurance Renewal

Mayor Golinski entertained a motion to authorize entering into a one year insurance agreement with
Glatfelter Insurance for general liability and property insurance in an amount not to exceed$311,793 and
to enter into a one year insurance agreement with the Illinois Public Risk Fund for worker's compensation
insurance in an amount not to exceed$139,498. So moved by Alderman Colosimo; seconded by

Proclamation for Yorkville Library Mini Golf FUN Raiser Day
Mayor Golinski proclaimed Sunday,January 25,2015 as the Yorkville Library Mini Golf FUN Raiser
Day in the United City of Yorkville and he encouraged all residents to support the Yorkville Public
Library by participating in this FUN raiser day(see attached.
Comprehensive Plan Steering Committee Appointments

Mayor Golinski entertained a motion to approve the Mayor's appointments of the following individuals to
the comprehensive plan steering committee: Amy Cesich as the Park Board representative; Deb Horaz,
and Rose and Bob Delo as the HOA representatives;James Weaver as the Plan Commission
representative;Mary Shilkaitis as the Rush Copley Hospital representative; Tom Kozlowicz as the
.-� Chamber of Commerce representative;Reagan Goins as the Zoning Board of Appeals representative; and
Joel Frieders as the Economic Development Committee representative. So moved by Alderman Kot;
seconded by Alderman Koch.

Alderman Teeling made a motion to approve the following regarding the Route 34 Improvements

COMMUNITY&LIAISON REPORT
Aurora Area Convention&Visitors Bureau(AACVB)
Alderman Funkhouser reported that the executive director search committee had narrowed down the
search from approximately twenty candidates to three candidates. He said that the search committee
would hold interviews for the final three candidates next Friday,with a potential special meeting on
Saturday to review with the full board the selected candidate. They hope to have a new executive director
in place by the end of the year. He also mentioned that the strategic planning committee would be
presenting a draft of the new strategic plan for the organization at the December 18th board meeting.
�-. STAFF REPORT
No Parking on City Streets after Two Inches of Snowfall
City Administrator Olson reminded residents that there is no parking allowed on city streets for a
minimum of twenty-four hours after two or more inches of snowfall.
