City Council Minutes 1970 10-15-70 October 1$, 1970 FORM 601-49® U.S.A. AN ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL OF THE UNITED CITY CF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS, HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON OCTOBER 15, 1970 AT 8:00 P.M. , FOR THE PURPOSE OF DISCUSSING THE $185,000 WATER REVENUE BOND ISSUE AND PAYMENT OF ENGINEERING UNDER MOTOR FUEL TAX MONEY. Walter E. Deuchler presented their final engineering statement for 1970 MOTOR FUEL TAX Street Repairs in the amount of $587.08. Alderman Thanepohn seconded by Alderman Follmer to pay said bill upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Thomas, Follmer, Thanepohn, Florence, Mitchell and McHugh. Attorney Dallas Ingemunson then reported that the $185,000 Water Revenue Bond Issue had all been sold, but Mr. Morrissey had failed to complete payment of said bonds. No further work could be completed until said money was seen. The city had received approximately $70,000 with $100,000 still due and the outstanding bills were as follows: Chicago Bridge & Iron $14,400.:0 Aurora Blacktop 2,600.00 Davis Construction 15,878.00 Walter E. Deuchler 16,000.00 A general discussion then followed with a suggestion that Mr. Morrisey have an audit of his books to determine assets and liabilities. No action taken. No other business the meeting was adjourned.
