Mayor Coleman called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present. M 1st ward - Doti Thomas 2nd ward - Lawrence Gardner, Vernon Florence 3rd ward - Duane Hayden Absent, James Yollmer and Richard Mitchell The clerk then read the minutes of the regular montly meeting of the mayor and aldermen held June 8, 1967- Said minutes were ordered approved as read. Chief Prickett then read the police report for the month of June which was accepted as read. Mayor Coleman then read the report on the water department and stre is and aleys which was approved as read. Arlie Lough then reported the water pressure on the ndwly installed water ~rain on Hydraulic Street at 120 pounds. Mayor Coleman then read a letter from the Yorkville Grade School board accepting the proposal for water at the new school. This to be set in formal agreement between the school and city council. An Ordinance amending sections 8, 26 and 27 of "An Ordinance Pertaining to the water works of the United City of the Vil1_age of Yorkville, Illinois, and repealing all ordinances in regard to the Ur..--ter works heretofore passed and approved as published by authority of the city council on July 16, 1959, as ammended. i;-as presented to the council by attorney discussion follwo��d. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voteing aye: Thomas, Gardner, Florence, and Hayden. Attorney Imegemusson then presented an ordinance entitled "Municipal Service Occupation Tax" A g a a�eral discussion followed. _'�r. n 'r?ayden seconded by alderman Thomas to ac^ept said tax. This was refered to the police committiee for study. Alderman Thomas then stated that Dr. Wunsch would like permission to blacktop the ^.orth end of S. ?,'_-tin St. (From Hylraulic Ave to north coroner of his building) The street eommittiee was instructed to meet with Dr 4hinsch and reach an agreement.
