MINUTES OF THE REGULAR. MONTLHY MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE UNITED
CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILI-E, ILLINOIS HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON JANUARY 12,
1967 AT 8:00 P.M.
Mayor Madden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to Ball the roll.
Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were prexvnts
1st ward - None
2nd ward - Lawrence Gardner, Vernon Florence
3rd ward - Daune Hayden, Richard Mitchell
Absent; Robert Coleman
The Clerk then read the minutes of the regular monthly meetingiDecember 8,
1966. Said minutes were ordered approved.

The bills were refered to the finance committiee to be paid if found correct.
The police report was read and approved.

The report on the water department and street and was read and approved.
Mr. Charles Dirst, a member of the Yorkville Grade School board of education and
Eugene Gordon of Walter E. Decuhler Associates were present. A general disc-
ussion was had in regards to supply the proposed grade and Junior high school
with water and sewerage. The water committiee was instructed to meet frith
the school board.
Mr. John Millner, Yorkville J.G. president was present and a gneral discussion
was had on a school crossing guard. The police committiee was instructed to
meet with the JC's and the school board in regards to hireing another guard.
A letter from the State Sanitary Water Board was read by attorney Ohse. This
was in regards to Dr. Wunsch's office building. A discussion followed. On
motiDn of Alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Kitchell that the Wunsch sewer
be shut off if it is not taken off the storm sewer by March 1st, 1967- Upon
roll being taken all aldermen voted aye. Nayes, none. Carried.
Mayor Madden then read a letter from Ret Bruce Salter in regards to the Madden
Western Auto Store being used as a youth center. x gneral discussion followed.
There bing no other business the meeting was adjourned.
