The bills were refered to the finance committiee to be paid ff found correct.
The police report was redd and ordered approved.
Thomas and Dorethea LeCuyer then presented a petition to rezone a strip of land
estending along Hydraulic Street from Heustis Street. Said strip is 10 feet wide
and 119.6 feet long. Alderman Mitchell seconded by alderman Hayden to referrthis
to the zonning board of appeals.
A general discussion followed on the library. Mayor Madden announced he would
appoint members of the Library Board at the Regular monthly meeting to be held
on October 14, 1965.
Attorney Ohse then presentd an ordinance amending the zonning ordinance in
granting the zonning change of the Thomas and Dorthea property on Heusiis and
Hydraulic Street. (See ordinance book) Alderman Mitchell seconded by alderman
Burroughs. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Burroughs,
Gardner, Florence, Hayden and Mitchell.
Alderman Gardner then gave a report on his Gommi.ttiee -meeting with Mr. Frank
Willman in re-girds to selling water to the 'Millman sub-division. . general
discussion followed.
The clerk was instructed to send a letter of appreaction to the Comm.-nwealth
Edison Co. for the service during the storm.
Tilton Homes on Olson Street then requested bb be re-imbursed for cost of
sewer if any other hook up's are made to the sewer line they installed.
James Price then gave the report on the water-ftpartment and the streets and
`alleys.
