MINUTES OF THE REGUALR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE UNITED
CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS, HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON MARCH 11v
1965 AT 8:00 0'61ock P.M.
Due to the abseince of Mayor Madden the clerk called the meeting to order and
asked for moninationa for a mayor pro-tem. Alderman Hayden seconded by alder-
man Burroughs nominated aldermen Trummel. Upon roll oall being taken all
aldermen voted aye.
The clerk then took roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were
present: 1st ward - Roger Burroughs, Robert Coleman
2nd ward - Delbert Trummel, Lawrence Gardner
3rd ward - Duane Hayden, Richard Mitchell
The clerk then read the minutes of the regular monthly meeting held on 0eb-
urary 11, 1965. Said minutes were ordered approved.

The police report for the month of February was read and ordered approved.
Chief Nartyn then requested that he be permitted 6o purchase a rolla-tape
and permission for a parking place for the police car ii: front:ldf the Dickson
building on Bridge street. Permission was granted Chief Martyn.
In the absence of James Price, Arlie Lough read the report of the streets and
alleys and the water department. A general discussion follow on repairing
or replaceing the water line on Mill Street south from Van Emman to hydraulic.
The was refered back to the water comrittiee for study.
Mr. George Griffin from the Walter E. Deuchler 'rid "'ssoc presented a resolution
for street repairs. Alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Mitchell to accept
said resolution.. Upon roll being taken all aldermen voted aye.
There being no other business the meeting was adjourned.
