City Council Minutes 1964 11-12-64 November 12, 1964 FORM 601-49® U.S.A. MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON NOVEMBER 12, 1964 AT 8:00 P.M. Mayor Madden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present: 1st ward - Rogerr8urrough3, Robert Coleman 2nd ward - Delbert Trummel, Lawrence Gardner 3rd ward - Duane Hayden, Richard Mitchell The Clerk then read the minutes of the regular monthly meeting held on October 8, 1964. James E. Price, Salary 250.00 Arlie P. Lough, Salary 180.00 LeRoy Johnson, Salary 116.00 The bills were refered to the finance oommittiee to be paid if fount correct. James Price then gave a report on the water department and streets and alleys for the month of October. Chief Martyn then gave the report on the police acctivities for the month of October. Mr. Ellsworth Windett then reported on cost of false arrest and invasion of privacy insurance. The police committiee was insuructed to check in rates. Mr. George Griffen of Walter E. Deuchler.,Assoc then presented a resolution for additional payment on Mast VenEmmon treet. A general discussion followed. Alderman Gardner seconded by alderman Gardner to accept said resolution. the following aldermen voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel. Gardner, Hayden and Kitchell. A general discussion was had on a school crossing light inn the Burrough of Bristol. A general discussion was had on the City contributing to the salary of a night radio operation for the county. This was tabled. A resolution was presented naming the National Boulevard Bank of Chicago as depository for City funds in Me water bond and sewerBonds funds. Alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Mitchell. Upon roll call being taken all aldermen voted aye. There being no other business the meeting was 4journed. Clerk
