August 13. 1964 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDE UM OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS, HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON AUGUST 1$, 1964 AT 8:00 P.M. Mayor Madden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. Upon Roll being taken the following aldermen were present: 1st ward, Robert Coleman 2nd ward, Delbert Trummel, Lawrence gardner 3rd ward, Richard Mitchell The clerk then read the minutes of the regualr monthly meeting held on July 9, 1964. Mr. Price then gave the report on the water department and the streets and alleys for the month of July. Alderman Mitchell seconded by alderman Gardner tot to make payment until final agreement lid been reached with the contractors regarding clean-up of streets. Alderman Trummel seconded this and the following aldermen voted aye:Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, and Mitchell. Chief Martyn then presented the resignation of Alvin Spera as night watch effective August 31st. AldermanMitchell seconded by alderman Gardner to accept said aesignation. All aldermen voted aye. A ganeral discussion was had with Mr. Silas Sebby in regards to the sewer he installed. Alderman Trummel seconded by alderman Coleman to refund the $150.00 sewer-hook up fee to Mr. Sebby, All aldermen voted aye.
