MINUTES OF THE RE'3UALR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDEM!EN OF THE UNITED
CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON FEBRUARY
1#1 1964 AT 8:00 P.M.
Mayor Madden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the
roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present.
lst ward - Roger Burroughs, Robert Coleman
2nd ward - Delbert Trummel, Lawrence G rdner
Ord ward - Duane Hayden, Richard latchell
The Clerk then read the minutes of the regular nonthly meeting of the Mayor
and aldermen held on January 9, 1964. Said minutes were ordered approved.
The clerk then read the bills as follows:

The bills were refered w the finance committiee to be paid if found cotbect.
The report on the streets and alleys and the water department for the month
of January 1964 was 2-tid aAd-*#derdd approved.

The police report for the month of January was read and ordered approved.
Mr. James Price speaking for Mr. Dale Woodruff asking that water be extended
down east Main Street to the Woodruff property. Sewer to be included too.
The water and sewer committie to meet and reach agreement Pith Mr. Woodruff.
Mr. James Price then requested permission to attend the short water operators
course to be held Marbh 2nd through 5th. Alderman Michteil seconded by
alderman Hayden that Price be given permission to attend and that he receive
8¢ per mile plus expenses.
A general discussion was had on the police department issuing cititations
for not.-having veheile tags.
An ordinance from the Illinois Bell Telephone Company giving them the
franchies in the City was presented. Alderman Kayden seconded by alderman
coleman to accept said ordinance. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen
voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, HaydanEi.and Mitchell..
There being no futhur business the meeting was adjourned.
