January, 9, 1964 MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MONTHLY MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ADLERMEN OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON JANUARY 9, 1964 AT 8:00 P.M. Mayor Madden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present: 1st ward - Roger Burroughs, Robert Coleman 2nd ward - Delbert Trummel, Lawrence Gardner 3rd ward - Duane Hayden, Richard Mitchell The clerk then read the minutes of the regular monthly meeting held on Dec- ember 12, 1963. James Price then gave the reports on the streets and alleys and the water department for the month of December. Chief Martyn read bhe police report for the month of December and the annual report of police activities for the year 1963. Said re,?orts were approved. 7r. The clerk then read an ordinance establishing parallel praking on Bridge street between VanEmmon Street and the Fox River. Alderman 11i chtell seconded by alderman Coleman to accept said ordinance. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, HHayden and Mitchell. Carried: A general discussion was had on establishing a parking lot on the Farm Breau propery and and other parking lots. There being no orther business the meeting was adjourned. erk
