Mayor t`,adden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. Upon roll bein; taken the following aldermen were present: lst ward - Rod ;er Burroughs, Robert Coleman 2nd ward - Delbert TrunLr.el, Lawrence Gardner 3rd ward - Richard Y`itchell Absent - Duane Hayden The Clerk then open bids for the water main extension in the Burrough of Bristol. Inc., `iir.sdale, Illinois 77,746.2$ T&R Con.-t Co., Aurora, Illinois 86,345.20 Zirrir:errran &-. Kahler, Inc., Huntley, Illinois 94,998.15 Davis Const Co., Plano, Illinois 81,640.20 Alderman Turmn-el seconded by alderman Coleman that three lo-west bids be held and tine remaining bids and checks be returned. Upon roll being taken the follow- ing aldermen voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner,. and Idtchell. Alderman Trummel then stated the the Police committiee had metand and recommended that 1r. Al Speria be appointed night partolman. Yayor a`adden then appointed Al Speria night partolman at the sala_y of '200.00 per month with a car allowance of 13.00 for each day hd uses his car. This appointment to ex?ire on April 30, 1963. He is to receive one week vacation after the first year and 1 day sick leave per month accumul-tile up to 14 days.
