Upon roll bein7 taken the following aldermen were present: lst ward, Rodger Burroughs, Robert Coleman 2nd ward, Delbert Trummel, Lawerence Gardner 3rd wa d, Duane Hayden, Ric and Mitchell The clerk then read the minutes of the regular monthly meFting held on March 14, 1963. The bills were refered to the finance committie to be paid if found correct. James Price oarve the report on the water departmer:t and the streets and alleys for the month of Mar6h. Mr. Price requisted permission to attend sewer meetin- on April 24th and 25th. Permission was granted. Chief Martyn then ;ave the police report. Mr. Martyn also Lstated that Kendall County had employed a Rabies control officer who was willing to work for the City of Yorkville also. Al Speria, rabies control office for � Kendall County would catch dogs in the City for ",`2.00 each. . A general discussion followed. 1.°otion b;r alderman Hayden to appoint Al Speria as rabies Con' rol of 'icer. Alderman Burroughs secondedin this motion. Upon Poll hein_:; t 'cen the following aldermen voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trumrr�el, Garner, Hayden and Mitchell. resolution was presented for the clek to advertise for bids'for the water extension. Alderman Yitchell seconded by alderman vardner t o ac(-ej)t said resolution. U on roll 1lbein7 taken the following aldermen voted Lye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trum:ael, 7,a dner, Hayden and Yatchell. Alderman Gardner seconded b;r :.alderman ?.`itchell to tr-..nsfer $1000.00 from the Sewer extension fund to the General Fund, said X1000.00 to be returned to the Sewer extens on fund with the first tax distrubution. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Burrou,hs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, Hayden and Mitchell. A general discussion was had on supply the Conover subdivision with water and sewer. Alderman Hayden then made the following motion: That the Conover subdivis=ion would be sup :lied water at a double rate, connection fees to be at cost for two years with the city to pay back Mr. Conover for the 8 inch line from Somonauk Street to the site of the proposed water tower when the tower is built or in 10 years. The water lines to be dedicated to the City and the city to #equire a 0150.00 fee for sewer connection, but bar. Conover to have control as to who may or may not connect and charge any additional amount as he sees fit. The sewer lines to be dedicated to the City. I''.lderman Mitchell seconded this resolution. Upon roll being taken the follwoin aldermen voted aye, Burroughs, Coleman, Trammel, Gardner, Hayden and Vitchell. A general discussion was had on coroner lots wheee there is insufficent footage for a 30 foot set back from each street. . :alderman Tru mel seconded by alder- manColeman for 25� of lot on one side and 30 foot setback at front. Upon roll beir�, taken the following alderman voted aye, Burroughs, Coleman, Trammel, Gardner, Hayden and Mitchell. There being no futhru business the meeting aaas adjourned.until april 18 at 8:00 P.M.
