11ayor Fadden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll.
Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present:
1st ward Roger Burroughs, Robert Coleman
2nd ward Delbert Trumn-el, Lawrence Gardner
3rd ward Duane Hayden, Richard Yitchell
The Clerk then read the minutes .-.rom the re:;ular monthly meeting held on January
10, 1963. Said minutes were ordered approved.

The police report for the month of January 196? was read and ordered approved.
The report of the Water Department and the sree,ts and alleys was read and
ordered approved.
A general discussion was had on overhaulin- the GMC Truck. The Committiee to
secure bids for same.
Chief Martyn requested that the city pay w of the cost of an emergencie kit
for use by all policing bodies in the county. Alderman Hayden seconded by
alderman Cleman that the City pay it's share. Upon roll being taken the
following aldermen voted aye; Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, Hayden
and Mitchell.
Chief Martyn then requested permission to attin an FBI school from March 4th
to March 9th. The classes lasting from 1 to 5 P.l;. each afternoon. Alderman
Coleman seconded by alderman L`itchell that Chief Martyn be ;ranted permission
to attend said school.
A general discussion was had on a boat 1_aunchin7 area east of the dam on the
south side of the Fox River. Alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Gardner
that this land be aquired by the state and be made into a park.
A general discussion followed on the route 17 by pass of Yorkville, also of
the possibality of the State of Illinois Truning over somonauk Street to the
City of "orkville.
Alderman Trump el Seconded by alderman Gardner that the City nay attorney fees
in the 19. J. Lewis Construction Company Law Suit. Upon roll being taken the
followin; alderman voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel ardner, Hayden
and Mitchell.

Commission. Alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Mitchell to accept all nomin-
ations. Upon roll being taken all aldermen v oted aye.
