Mayor Madden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. The clerk then opened bids for an industrial tractor as advertised for. The following companies submitted bids as follows: Homer G. Dickson Co., $3859.44 Riverside Contractors, 3440.20 'Nilson Tractor Sales, 4126.00 Westside Tractor Sales, 3952.00 Oswego Implement Co., 3770.00 Schuster Equipment Co., 4195.00 Howell Tractor & Equipment Co., 3702.00 Yorkville Implement Co., 3845.00 A general discussion followed. Alderman Trummel seconded by alderman Hayden that the lowest bid that come up to the specifications drawn by the street and alley committiee be accepted. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, Hayden and Mitchell. Alderman Burroughs then made a motion that $3845.92 be transfered from the sewer extension fund. Unon roll being taken the following aldermen toted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, Hadyen and Mitchell. The-birdinance ammending the zoning ordinance was presented and read. Alder- man Mitchell seconded by alderman Hayden to accept said ordinance. Upon roll being taken the following alderman voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Trummel, Gardner, Hayden and Mitchell.
