Mayor I adden called the meeting, to order and directed the clerk to c7-11
the roll. TT on roll being taken the following aldermen were present.:
1st ward - Roger Burroughs, Robert Coleman
2nd ward - Delbert Tr rtirael, Lawernce Gardner
3rd ward - Duane Hayden, Rich .rd itchel.l

James Price gave the report on the Z•:jater Department and the streets and
alleys which was approved.
Frankl'n a.rtzrn tre monthly report on the pol ice activit&es I.n the
City of Yorkville.
A general discussion was had on raw sewerane being emptied into the storm
sewer on Elizabeth Street.. All sewerage ?lust go through the sanitary sewer
system.
A general discussion was had on payment of fines to the police magastrate.
The police corllnittiee to check into posting of bond with the chief of police
for traffic violations.
Ma-yor Mad.''°n nave a report on the Illinois '=lunicipal Lead*ue convention
held at Springfield, Illinois.
Alderman Hayden reported on parking on Hydraulic Str et in front. of the
postoffice. A general di scussi on followed. Alderman ''•iitchell seconded by
alderman Coleman to :Hake Hydraulic Street one way from Hellistis street to
Brdige Street. The traffic to go iVCSt. TJpon roll being taken the following
aldermen voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Tru.-riel, lard.n'--, Halyden and
lIitchell.
A general discussion was had on purchasing a new tractor for the Cit�r. Al4er-
man Trurrnel seconded by alderman Burroughs that the street and alley corn.-nittie
draw up specifications and to advertise for blds for said tractor. The bids
to he opened at the next regular meeting to he held on Thursday December 13,
1962. Upon roll being taken all aldermen voted aye.
The clerk then read the Zonning Boc.rd of Appeals recommendations that Vr.
Richard �'idlo petition to rezone be accepted. A general discussion followed.
Alderman Haden then moved to change the present zonning ordinate to include
the business classifications of B-11 B-23 B-3., this was seconded by alder-
man I'litchell. The f ollowing aldermen voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, TnrLiel,
Hayden and Mitchell.
Alderman Hayden then gloved to accept the said recommendations of the Zonning
board of appeals. Alderman r-atchell seconded this and the followinn alder-
men voted aye: Burroughs, Coleman, Tntr,,rael, Gardner, Harden and '4Litchell.

Mayor Madden then appointed the �'.ity Council to ct as the zonning Commission,
to set up requirement for Business zonnin7 of B-1, B-21B-;.
Alderman Mitchell than moved to .amend zoning ordinave to Business B, 1,2;31,
with said hearaing to he on December 6, 1962 at 3:00 P.''. at the City hall.
41is was seconded by alderman Hayden. Upon roll being taken all members of ,,
the Zonning commission voted aye.
