Mayor Maden called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the
roll. Upon roll 'being taken the following aldermen were present:
1st ward, Rodger Burroughs, Robert Coleman
2nd ward, Delbert Trummel, Lawrence Gardner
3rd 'Nard, Duane Hayden, Richard Mitchell
The Clerk then read the minutes of the regular monthly meeting held on August
18, 1962 and the adjourned meeting held on August 20, 1962. Said minutes
were approved.
The clerk then read the bills as follows:

The bills were refered to the finance committiee to be paid if found correct.
James Price gave the report on the water department and the streets and
allys which was found correct and accepted.
Franklin Martyn gave the monthly police report which was accepted.
The finance committiee was instructed to the purchase of insurance for the
purpose of equalizing the amount purchased from each agent in the city of
Yorkville.
Alderman Hayden reported that the James Peterson were satisfied with the
condition of their propertywhere the new surer mains were installed.
The Yorkville Highschool requested permission that the annual homecomming
parade be held on October 13, 1962 and that the route for said parade be
from Fox load to Bridge street north to Somonauk Street to the school grounds.
Permission was granted for this. uhief Martyn was instructed to obtain
all necessary permits for the State of Illinois.
A general discussion was had on special assement bonds for water mains on the
north fide of the Fox River (Burrough of Bristol). The '1'a.ter committiee was
instructed to meet with Walter Deuchler Engineers.
There Being no futhur business the meeting was adjourned.
