MINUTES OF THE ADJOURNED MEETING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDERMENLOF THE UNITED CITY
OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, ILLINOIS HELD AT THE CITY HALL ON APRIL 21, 1962
AT 1:00 P.M. FOR THE PURPOSE OF CANVASING THE ELECTION HALD ON APRIL 17, 19&2.
Mayor Windett called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the%
roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present:
2nd ward - Delbert Trummel
3rd ward - Duane Hayden, Richard Mitchell
Absent - William Randles
The election held on April 17, 1962 was canvased, see attached sheet.
The City Attorney then presented the Ordinance changing the names of Washington
Street in the Burrough of Bristol to East Jackson Street and kdams Street in
the Burrough of Yorkville to Beecher Street (See ordinance Book). Adlerman
Hayden seconded by alderman Mitchell to accept said ordinance. Upnnnroll being
taken the following aldermen voted aye. Turmmel, Hayden and Mitchell. Absent
Randles.
Alderman Mtichell seconded by alderman Trummel that the bonds be set as follows
for the officers of the City of Yorkville.
Mayor $5000.00
Clerk $5000.00

City collector $3000.00 Surity bond
Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Trummel, Hayden and
Mitchell.
The city attorney then presented a resolution expresso a city council's thanks
to Mayor Windett (See attached resolution). Alderman Hayden seconded by alder-
man Trummel that this resolution be accepted and placed in the minutes. Upon
roll being taken the dollowing aldermen voted aye: Trummel, Hayden and Mitchell.
There being no futhur business the meeting was adjourned.

We, the undersigned, the City Council of the United City
of the Village of Yorkville, acting as a canvassing boar•c3 for the
purpose of canvassing the results of the election held. April 17,
1962, for the purpose of voting for Mayor, City Clerk, City
Treasurer, Police Magistrate, one Alderman for Ward' 1 (for full
