January 11, 1962 Regular monthly meeting of the Mayor and Aldermen of the United city Uf The Village of Yorkville, Illinois Held at the Village Hall on Thursday January 11, 1962 at 8:00 P.M. Mayor Windett called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present: 1st ward - Aden Madden 2nd ward - William handles, Delbert Trammel 3rd ward - Duane Hayden , Richard Mitchell The minutes of the previous monthly meeting held on December 14, 1962 were read and ordered approved. The Clerk then rdad the bills as follows: Franklin Martyn Sr., Salary 360.00 Franklin Martyn Sr., Expnses 75.00 James E. Price, Salary 205.00 Arlie P. Lough, Salary 175.00 C. James Price gave the report on the streets and alleys and the water dept. whieh was found correct. FORM 601-49 U.S.A. Chief of Pmlice Franklin Martyn gave the monthly and annuli report on the activities of the police department. Elden Madden gave a.teport on the dead film Trees in the city. A general discussion was had on same. Mr. Lawrance Gardner and Mr. Charles -tading inquired into the progress on the sewer work on mill street. A general discussion followed. Alderman Randles seconded by alderman Trummel to notify the Bonear Construction Co. to complete the sewer mains which have been started in thn days or their Bonding Company shall be notified. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Madden, Handles, Trummel, Hayden, and Mitchell. Mr. hobert Barkley presented a statement against the "oncar Construction company for damages against his properity in the amount of $150.00. The Clerk was instusted to hold this bill until final payment of the Boncar Construction Company. Mr. Homer Dickson asked for a change in the Zonning on his properity on Hydraulic Street next to the Wunsch Clinic. Alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Madden that this be turned over to the Zonning board of appeals for a hearing. Upon roll being taken all aldermen voted aye. Nayes none. Arlie P. Lough and James E. Price requested that they be paid for extra time that they have done and will do in the future. Alderman Randles seconded by alderman Hayden that they be paid the same hourly rate for over time as for regular time. Upon roll being taken the following alder- men voted aye: Randles, Trummel, Hayden, Mithhell and kadden. There being no futhur business the meeting was adjourned. Clerk
