Mayor ,7indett called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll.

The report on streets and alleys and the water department was read by Games E.
Price and approved.
The police re_,ort was read by Franklin Lartyn and approved.
Chief of Police bartyn requested permission to attend the police ccnvention to
held in October. Alderman Mitchell seconded by alderman Randles that Cheif
i Martyn be granted permission to attend said convention also $25.00 expense
money. Upon roll being taken all aldermen voted aye.
The Uivil Defense ordinance passed by the Kendall County Board of Supervisors
was presented. This was tabled until the next reualr monthly meeting so that
it could be studied over by c:)uncil and the proper committies.
Alderman ;,n yden seconded by alderman "ughes that an Tax Anticipation 'Tarrant
shall be issued for „'3000.00 to pay on* the A. H. Carlson Const Co. Acc t
See attaced resolution. Upon roll b eingtaken the following aldermen quoted
aye: Hughes, r_adder..9 Randles, Trummel, Hayden and Mitchell. Carreid
The Dunger Sub-division was presented. Alderman Randles Seconded by alderman
'itcl,ell that said sub-division ne xcce4;ted r: z'; the provision that the
storm sewers corssing said property be showen on platt. Upon roll being taken
the following alp' men voted aye: Hughes, Madden, Randles, Trummel, Hayden and
Li tchell, Carried..
A general discussion was had on using the telephone company properity across
from the Wunsch Building for a parkif&g lot. It was decided to table this for
study.
A general discussion was had on sewers on east Franklin street. Alderman
Hughes seconded by alderman °ayden that the money from tfle Merkel Hook-up
be used to pay her share of sewer cost on East Franklin Street. Upon roll
being taken the following aldermen voted aye: Hughes, Madden, Randles, Trummel
ayden and bitchell.
Mr. Sidlo:pr, sented a letter requesting rezoning of his property from residental
to business. Alderman Randles seconded by alderman Trummel that this be turned
over to the Zonning hoard of Appleas, including to this resolution is for the
re-zonning of the entire Bourrough of Bristol. Upon roll being taken the
following aldermen voted aye; Hughes, Madden, Randles, Trummel, nayden and Mitch-e
tiayor Yindett than stated that there were three vacancies to be filled on the
Zonninl- bo rd of a_,peals. Alderman Hughes seconded by alderman b!itchell
that aeorge Whitfield be appointed until December 1963. Upon roll being taken
all aldermen voted aye. Mayes none.
Alderman Hughes then nominated Dean Schalp until December 1964. Alderman
Mdden seconded "this. Upon roll being taken all aldermen voted aye. Nayes
None.
Alderman Yitchell seconded by alderman Trummel then nominated Donald Dirst
until December 1965. Upon roll being taken all aldermen voted aye..

A general Discussion was had oh the the sewer for the new home being built by
Victor Smith. It ,as decided that said sewer should go north from "efferson
Steet past the village hall to Van Emmon Street. On notion of alderman Randles
seconded by alderman Hug es that the city shall pay 113 of cost providing it8d
share shall not excedd $300.00. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen
voted aye: Hughes, madden, Nan les, `1'rummel, Hayden and 111itchell. Carried.
Alderman Hughes them presented his resignation to the city council. Alderman
Hayden seconded alderman Mitchell to accept said res*-nation with deep regret.
Upon role being taken the following aldermen voted aye; Madden, Randles, Trammel
Hayden and latchell. Carriedl
