Mayor Alindett called the meeting to order and directed the clerk to call roll.
Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present:

The minutes of the previous meeting were read and ordered approved.

The bills were refered to the finance comcnittie to be }paid if found correct.
Alderman Hughes seconded by alderman I.adden to dispense with reading of the
previous months bills. Upon rollbeing taken all aldermen voted aye. carried.
The police re ort and the report on streets and alleys were read and ordered
ap ;roved.
Mr. Donald Cutsin;Ter requested information about installing seweres for the
Arundale yot on Ymrgan and Franklin Streets. A general discussion was had on
same. It was decided to have the engineers determine the cost for said sewers.
On motion of alderman Hayden seconded by alderman Ldtchell to advertise for sealed
bids on the proposed serer project. Said bids to be opened on the next regular
meeting Thursday, Februar 9, 1961 at 8:00 P.L% Upon rollbeing taken the following
aldermen voted aye: Hughes, Padden, Trummel, Hayden, and Ivitchell, Nayes NOhe
Absent Randles.
Sealed bids were opened for heating units for the pump house and garage. John

Dickson, Two units 662.00
Upon motion of Alderman Hushes seconded by alderman Hayden to acce'b� the dickson
bid the following aldermen voted aye: Hughes, P;a.dden, Ta mmel, nayden and .itchell
Nayes none, Carried. Absent Randles.
Upon motion of Alderman Trummel seconded by alderman Hughes to accept the Dickson
bid for a heating upit for the city of. Price of said unit to be $225.90. Upon
roll being taken the following aldermen ttoed aye: Hughe, sadden, Trummel, Hayden
and tthcell, Carriedl Absent Randles.
Alderman Hughes seconded by alderman Hayden to bay the carlson const co $1000.00
from the motor vechile tax fund. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen
voted aye: Hughes, Yadden, Trummel, Hayden and Idtchell. Carred, absent Randles.
