City Council Minutes 1960 11-10-60 November 10, 1960 MIINUTES OF THE REGULAR " NTHLY iv7TING OF THE MAYOR AND ALDERMEN OF THE UNITED CITY OF THE VILLAGE OF YORKVILLE, YORKVIL -, IL .INOIS HELD AT THE VILLAGE HALL ON NOVEITER 100 1960 at 8:00 P.L . Mayor Windett called the meting to order and directed the clerk to call the roll. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present: lst ward- Elden Madden 2nd ward- Delbert Trummel 3rd ward- Duane Haydea ' Richard Mitchell Absent- Russell Hughes William Randles The clerk then read the minutes of the previous me ting and were ordere=d approved. The police repot for the month-:of 8cotber was read and ordered approved. The report on the water warkes and street and alleys was read and ordered approved. Mr. James Price gave a report on the pump house and requested a drain valve on the bottom of the resevour at the cost of x"100.00. Alderman Hayden of the water committiee gave permission for same. Chief Martyn reported that cars from the Court House were blocking the driveways at the Budd and Martin homes. The Police committiee insturcted Chief Martyn to issue arrest warents to these vilators. Mr. Victor Smith asked the Sewer committie what action it had taken in regards to his sewer. Mr. James Price was instructed to check the footage and find the cost of said dewer. City Attorney Ohse reported on the answer he received from the Illinois Iriunicipal League in regards £o parking of oil trucks in residental areas. A general discussion was had on same.. A general discussion was had in regards to the numbering of streets. It was decided to talk to mr. Flilliam riayden and Charles Schumacher and see if they were interested Mr. Archie Bieritz wanted to collect from each family serviced by himself in garbage removal and be indepentent of the city. Refered back to committiee for study. There biiijg no futhur business the meeting was adjourned.
