The police report for the nomth of June was read and approved The report on streets and llleys and the water department was read and ordered approved. A report and general discussion was had on ducct elm disease. It was decided that people who cut diseased times on their paoperty the city will well remove the diseased threes from the curbing and the commi.ttiee to work out the rest of the trees to be removed. The anount to be spent in dutch elm controll be in the anount of $750.00. An ordinance was presented to vacate the alleybetx lots 6 and 7, Block 11 in the orginal Village of Yorkville. Alderman Tlum el seconded by alderman Hayden to acctept said ordinance. Upon roll being taken the following aldermen voted aye. Huhges, Madden, R ndles, Trummel, Hayden and Mitchell Carried. See ordinance book. Mr. Walter Deuchler gave a talk on the new well. Upon motion of alderman Hughes seconded by Alderman Hayden to change the contract by bye amount of $1380.00 and incorpate a new pump the following aldermen voted aye, nughes Madden, Randles, Trummel, Hayden, and Mitchell. A general discussion was had on the pump house. Alderman Mitchell was instructed to meet with Mr. Lane and try to squire the land on the North side of the pu{gp house. The city attorney was instructed to draw up amendtments to the Sewer ordinance r,�aissing the hook-up fees for business to $250.00 and to stip repairs fo septic tanks.. A resolution was presented to reapir King St from Somonauk to Main St. with motor fuel tax money. Alderman Hughes Seconded by alderman Randles to aectept said resoultuon. Upon roll being taken the following alderman voted aye, Hughes, Madden, Randles, Trummel, Hayden and Mithhell. (See attached sheet. There being no futher business the meetig was adjourned.
