The Mayor called the meeting, to order and directed the clerk to call the roll.
Upon roll being taken the following aldermen were present:

The clerk then read the minutes of the previous meeting.

The bills were refered to the finance committiee to be paid if found correct.
The police report and the re )ort on the streets and alleys and water department
was read and ordered approved.
The clerk then read the notice of letting for water and sewer bids for the Peterson
and Riemenschneider homes. The bids were then opened (see attached sheet). Upon
motion of alderman Hughes seconded :>y alderman Hayden that said bids be held in ab yance
untill Thursday September 17 at 8:00 P.M. Upon roll being, taken all aldermen voted aye.
A general discussion was had concerning paying, the 'PI. J. Lewis Construction Company.
Upon motion of alderman Hayden, seconded by alderman Liadden that the "N. J. Lewis
Construction be paid the balance owed them upon a receipt of waver from the James
B. Clow Company for pipe purchased b. the ;'e. J. Lewis Comstruction Company. Upon roll
Being taken, the following aldermen voted "aye": Russell Hughes, Eiden 1.1adden, 7illiam
Randles, Duane Hayden and Richard Idtchell. "Nayes": none. Absent; Delbert Trummel.
Carried and so ordered.
A general discussion was had on repairs to Somonauk Stre t. Upon motion of alderman
Randles seconded by alderman Hughes that the 71. J. Lewis Construction Company bring Somonauk
Street to an A=3 also fill and roll King Street. Upon roll being taken all aldermen
voted "Aye".
Alderman Yitchell seconded by alderman Hayden that the Farmers State Bank of Yorkville,
Illinois be designated a depository for the Sewer construction Fund. Upon roll being
taken all aldermen voted "Aye".
There being no other business the meeting was adjourned. /
